Solar electricity systems (also known as solar photovoltaics or PV) capture the sun’s radiation and convert this into usable electricity for use within your home – even on cloudy days!
» Generate your own free electricity, all year round
» Get paid for the electricity you generate - earn £755 every year*
» Provide 40% of your annual electricity needs*
» Save £112 per year in electricity costs*
The robust and proven effectiveness of solar systems make them an ideal way to make use of our sun’s limitless (and free!) energy, whilst remaining kind to the environment.
They provide a long term sustainable energy generation solution by harnessing the suns energy and converting this into usable electricity for the home via a series of panels on the roof, thus lowering household carbon emissions, whilst saving you money on your electricity bills, and providing you with a means to earn money (via the Feed-in-Tariffs).
With an expected lifespan of at least 35 years with very minimal maintenance, your solar electricity system promises to be an investment that pays off.
PLUS as the FiT tariffs are indexed linked – linked to the Retail Price Index (RPI) as a measure of inflation - your investment in this green renewable energy technology will ensure you profit when global oil prices rise. For more information about this click here.
Radiation from the sun (solar radiation) can be used to generate electricity. Solar electricity panels, normally mounted on the roof or walls of the building are made from one or two layers of semi-conducting material. When solar radiation hits the solar panel it creates an electric field across the layers. The stronger the solar radiation, the more electricity is produced – even on a cloudy day!
We offer a large range of solar electricity systems to suit all needs and budgets.
Below is a selection of photos of different sized systems, ranging from a 1.88kWp system, suitable for a smaller property, up to a 3.96kWp system, suitable for a larger property. For pricing details please call.
